Best enterprise URL shortener

Enterprise buyers need single sign-on, role-based access, audit logs, long retention, a security questionnaire answered and a contract to sign. This page ranks shorteners on those, and is the one list where the free-plan champions do not win.

Updated 8 November 20268 tools comparedPrices in USD
Quick answer. Bitly is the safest enterprise pick: the best-known vendor, SSO, multi-user, deep links and two-year history on Enterprise. Rebrandly is the branded-link specialist with an SSO tier. Dub is the modern choice for engineering-led companies with SSO, audit logs and RBAC. ReSlug does not yet offer team seats and is not an enterprise tool today.

Enterprise requirements change the ranking completely. Free links and cheap domains stop mattering; what matters is whether security will approve the vendor, whether 40 people can share an account with sensible permissions, and whether someone answers the phone. We rank on SSO, seats, audit and compliance features, retention and support, using what each vendor publishes.

ReSlug, which leads several other rankings on this site, does not have team seats, SSO or an enterprise tier today. It is listed near the bottom for that reason.

Bitly Enterprise offers SSO, multiple users, two years of history, mobile deep linking, a mature API and the widest integration catalogue in the category. It is the vendor most procurement teams have already approved. Pricing is custom; Premium at $199/mo (annual) is the top self-serve tier with 3,000 links and a year of history.

  • QR codes, landing pages and links in one product
  • Mobile deep linking and an enterprise tier with SSO and 2-year history
  • Integrations with almost every marketing tool

Cons

Free: 1,000 links (lifetime) Paid from $5/mo Custom domains: free Analytics: Not documented APIBio pagesBot filtering

  • Hobby plan is $5 a month for 2,500 links and 7 domains

Cons

  • Analytics retention is not published for any plan
  • Password protection and expiration need Pro
